There are lots of companies in the UK arranging work placements in Europe – so if you’re sending or receiving trainees, why should you work with us?
Here are some reasons why our European partners have chosen ETS:
Experience: we’ve spent more than 20 years organising European work placements, working under Leonardo and other EU-funded programmes.
Certification: we’re one of only four UK organisations to be certified by the National Leonardo Agency.
Personal care: we welcome every trainee in person when they first arrive. Then during their stay, they have access to their own Host Organiser who’s there to make sure they adapt to life in the UK.
Quality control: we have extensive monitoring procedures that run throughout the programme: not just the work placement, but also in our optional language course – as well as our accommodation and host family scheme.
Success rate: we monitor the success of all our Leonardo placements. In the year 2007-2008, some 98% of our German participants secured employment within 6 months of leaving the UK.
Equal Opportunities: our programme is open to anyone in the job market, from school leavers to graduates and beyond. We’re currently the only UK organisation to welcome participants aged over 40. We see this as a vital step for the UK Leonardo Programme.
